How can Good Policy support you?

Some organisations are clear as to what support they want, & others know they want to do more policy & influencing but are not sure what they need & so we work together to create a brief. Either is welcome, & some examples of what Holly can support with includes:

• Developing evidence based, realistic, policy positions that will get traction with decision makers.

• Undertaking policy research and insight work with stakeholders (including using qualitative and quantitative methods)

• Turning complex policy work into simple, powerful and well-written policy assets, including messaging, reports and briefings, that are tailored for key audiences

• Setting up and running brilliant events, like roundtables, to develop and/or promote your policy and campaigns

• Helping you work out how to prioritise your policy and influencing work so you can have the most impact for your communities

• Developing a strategy for political engagement at a national and/or local level for your campaigns, including stakeholder mapping and management processes (the latter is the less exciting side of influencing but very important!)

• Run your All-Party Parliamentary Group to free up staff time

• Packaging up influencing projects for funding bids and supporting writing

• Setting up new influencing functions, like local influencing teams

• Providing interim team leadership or support during busy periods and upskilling staff.
