Pro bono support

The ‘good’ in Good Policy is a value that runs through all we do - we believe no organisation should miss out on high quality policy & influencing support because of a lack of funds, & that the next generation of policy & influencing professionals should always be more representative than the one before. These beliefs drive the Good Policy pro bono offer.

Two days pro bono from Holly per quarter

We offer two days of founder Holly’s time pro bono, each quarter, to a different small-to-medium sized charity that’d benefit from some expert policy, public affairs & influencing advice & support.

What this support looks like will depends on the wants and needs of each charity, but examples of what it could be are:

• Reviewing your public affairs strategy to ensure it’s targeted & impactful, or helping develop one from scratch

• Creating pithy and memorable policy messaging that speaks to the heart and head

• Exploring what opportunities the devolution agenda in England could bring to your organisation

• Being a thought partner for leaders and developing thought leadership pieces for publication

• Upskilling your team on influencing tactics or mentoring.

If you are interested in this pro bono support, please email Holly or use the contact page. An organisation that aligns with Good Policy’s values will be selected each quarter at random in March, June, September and December for support the following quarter.

Weekly Good Policy clinic

Holly also offers weekly slots that individuals or organisations can book what whatever reason they like - from networking and freelancing insights to pro bono advice. You can book a slot here.

Paid work experience

We are currently testing a paid work experience programme. If possible, this will be run regularly to support the next generation of policy & influencing professionals.
